SparkLAN E-110 Power Over Ethernet Hub

The E-110 is a Power over Ethernet Hub enabling a unified supply of data and power through a standard Ethernet cable (Cat 5). Power supply to each remote WLAN Access Point can be centralized in a place powered by UPS, Uninterruptible Power Supply. Access Point power recycle could be easily done from the remote.

Using LAN cable to supply power is cost saving, but it is crucial to guarantee the safety. E110 gives power only to recognized PoE end devices by an auto-sensing algorithm. The power is shut down when the LAN cable gets shorted or overloaded. With auto-sensing and shortage protection, E110 is actually delivering a highly reliable PoE solution.

PoE is a power LAN draft standard. It is supported by a growing number of PoE suppliers. SparkLAN E110 is not a proprietary unit. It works with any PoE compliant end devices of different vendors.
